Within our current global political climate, conflicts and clashes tend to be emphasised. And with increasing frequency these conflicts are imagined as conflicts between religions, cultures and civilisations. Quite often, discussions around social justice and rights for LGBTQI people have been and are still used as pawns in political rhetorics that have an interest in perpetuating this vision of a world of religious, cultural and civilisational clashes. In a one-on-one conversation with Leyla Jagiella, we will create a discourse that will enable us to dismantle the lies of the oppressor and to find empowerment and intellectual freedom.
