Sunday, 23 June 2013
11.00 am – 12.00 pm
The Bee, Publika
We believe reading is good for us. But how? What happens in our brains when we read – and when we don’t? Does it matter if we don’t read fiction? Whether we do it for pleasure? Digital or print? How does this affect our children? Literacy expert, Nicola Morgan, unpicks recent research and hopes to enlighten and challenge. The talk will be conducted in English for the duration of one hour, including a question and answer segment with audiences.
