Mustafa Along was born in Kampung Dakoh Pos Balar. He has been an Orang Asli rights activists since 2010. He was appointed as Secretary for Kelantan Orang Asli Village Network in 2014. He has engaged directly with the indigenous people’s blockade in Kelantan since 2015. He witnessed a court case involving the Pos Belatim against the Kelantan State Government as a community mapping expert. Since 2015, he has served as the chairman of the Kelantan Orang Asli Network.
